No Limits Grappling Academy (NLGA) is the premier destination for No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu training in Scranton. Our approach combines Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), wrestling, and judo to create a dynamic and effective training environment.
We believe that real growth happens just outside your comfort zone. Whether you’re a former athlete looking to reignite your competitive fire, someone seeking a new and challenging training routine, or simply looking for a strong community, NLGA is the place for you. We don’t just teach techniques. We help you build resilience, discipline, and an elite mindset.
Our Training Philosophy
A Supportive Yet Challenging Environment
Jiu-Jitsu can feel intimidating when you first start, but we make sure it’s not. Our gym is ego-free, and everyone, no matter their experience level, is treated with respect. If you're willing to learn and put in the work, you belong here.
More Than Just a Hobby
Some gyms separate their members into competitors and hobbyists. We don’t. Whether you ever step into a competition or not, you’re an athlete in our eyes. Grappling isn’t just something you casually pick up and put down. It’s a path to personal growth, discipline, and hard work. Our Non-Tournament Athletes (NTAs) train just as hard as competitors, pushing each other to improve every day.
SilverbackStyle: A Commitment to Excellence
We hold ourselves to a high standard because we know that’s what it takes to get better. SilverbackStyle means:
- Training with intensity and focus, whether in practice or competition.
- Developing habits that translate to success in both Jiu-Jitsu and life.
- Pushing through discomfort and embracing challenges.
- Respecting the gym, the coaches, and your teammates.
- Putting in maximum effort every day to create an elite training environment.
